Thank you for choosing Chey’s Whisk & Wonder! Each order is handmade with care, creativity, and attention to detail in my Florida cottage kitchen. These policies are designed to help ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for both you and your baker.

By placing an order with Chey’s Whisk & Wonder, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

🛒 Ordering & Payments

Orders should be placed according to the recommended lead times listed on each product page. Orders requested with less notice may be accepted based on availability.

Large orders, holiday orders, and specialty designs may require additional notice.

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order date. Deposit deadlines will be communicated during the booking process. Large orders, event orders, and specialty designs may require the deposit at the time of booking.

Your order is not officially reserved until the required deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due upon pickup or delivery.

📅 Order Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

Because each order is handmade specifically for you, time, ingredients, and supplies are reserved based on your request. Please communicate any cancellations, rescheduling requests, or changes as soon as possible.

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the scheduled pickup or delivery may receive a refund of payments made, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before pickup or delivery are generally not eligible for refunds due to the time, preparation, ingredients, and materials already invested into the order.

Rescheduling requests are reviewed case-by-case and are subject to availability.

Exceptions due to unforeseen circumstances may be considered at the sole discretion of Chey’s Whisk & Wonder.

Applying a deposit or payment toward a future order is not guaranteed and will be determined based on the circumstances.

Flavor changes must be requested at least 72 hours before pickup or delivery.

Design changes for 3D or sculpted cakes must be requested at least 1 week before pickup or delivery.

Requests made after these time-frames may not be accommodated and may incur additional charges.

Once an order has been picked up or delivered, it is considered accepted. Due to the handmade nature of custom baked goods, refunds or exchanges will not be provided after the order has left my care.

Customers are responsible for proper transportation, storage, and handling of their order after pickup or delivery.

🎂 Order Concerns & Quality Assurance

If there is a confirmed major error with your order, such as a significant difference from the agreed-upon design or theme, please contact Chey’s Whisk & Wonder immediately at pickup or delivery so I have the opportunity to address the concern before your event.

I will make every reasonable effort to correct confirmed errors whenever possible. If a major issue cannot be corrected in time, a resolution will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

If a confirmed major error cannot be corrected and the order is declined, the remaining balance will not be due.

Please understand that all creations are handmade. Minor variations in color, design, placement, texture, and artistic interpretation are expected and are part of the uniqueness of custom desserts.

Refunds will not be issued for minor variations, personal preferences, or changes of opinion when the order has been completed according to the agreed-upon details.

Inspiration photos, whether AI-generated or otherwise, are used as a reference only and are not guaranteed to be replicated exactly. Every custom dessert is handcrafted, and I will make every reasonable effort to capture the overall design, style, theme, and aesthetic of the inspiration provided. Due to the handmade nature of custom desserts and the limitations of edible mediums, exact replication is not possible.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the risk of potential allergen exposure.

🍰 Storage & Handling

Once your order has been picked up or delivered, Chey’s Whisk & Wonder is no longer responsible for damage caused by transportation, temperature, storage, or handling.

Customers are responsible for following provided storage and care instructions to maintain the quality and appearance of their order.

📦 Pickup & Delivery

Pickup is available by appointment only. Please arrive during your scheduled pickup time.

If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible. A 15-minute grace period is provided. After that time, your order may need to be rescheduled depending on availability, and additional fees may apply.

Delivery is available within the local area for a $10 delivery fee, depending on my schedule and availability.

Large orders, including tiered cakes, dessert tables, or bulk quantities, may require additional delivery time and care and may include additional delivery fees. Delivery arrangements and pricing will be confirmed during booking.

📧 Communication & Marketing Consent

By placing an order with Chey’s Whisk & Wonder, you agree to receive order-related communications through email or text message, including confirmations, pickup details, and important updates regarding your order.

You may also choose to opt in to receive occasional updates, seasonal menus, and special promotions.

Marketing messages may be unsubscribed from at any time by replying “STOP” or contacting Chey’s Whisk & Wonder directly.

📸 Photography & Content Usage

Chey’s Whisk & Wonder reserves the right to photograph and share images or videos of completed orders for marketing and promotional purposes, including social media, website content, and printed materials.

If you prefer your order not to be photographed or shared, please notify Chey’s Whisk & Wonder before pickup or delivery.

By placing an order with Chey’s Whisk & Wonder, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
